Your First Introduction to Tech

Your First Introduction to Tech

When I wanted to transition to tech, I was limited in my knowledge of the different roles available in tech. I started with learning HTML, CSS and JavaScript. If I had to start all over again with the knowledge I have, I would choose a different role and path. Just like me, I've had people approach me, people looking to get into tech, I hope this mini guide helps you choose a career path and get you started in Tech.

Tech is everything you think and more, but it is not a bed of roses, Tech is a tower you can only reach if you use the stairs, there are no elevator( lift ) up there. Tech is actually an interesting journey, and if you enjoy learning new things, let me formally welcome you to a career of never-ending learning.

Contrary to what people think, you don't need to be great at math, although some career roles need math, as long as you have the willingness to learn and improve on the necessary skill needed you good. You also don't need to code a single day in your life if you don't want to, and still be in tech. I like to think tech has a space for you and if you look around and also with some research you can find your dream job in tech. There are code roles and non-code roles.
